Since Cyber Security is currently making the headlines almost everyday and is top priority for many businesses, I would like to share some great information on how SMME’s can benefit from security benchmarks. These benchmarks can be used as a security checklist.
The Center for Internet Security (CIS) is a nonprofit organization set out to “identify, develop, validate, promote, and sustain best practice solutions for cyber defense and build and lead communities to enable an environment of trust in cyberspace”.
The CIS provides free benchmarks, cyber security best practices and tools for many different platforms like Linux, Windows Desktop, Windows Server, VMware and now includes online services like Microsoft 365 and more.
We here at Sns Technologies have aligned our “Microsoft 365 Managed Service” to theses best practices so our subscribed clientele already have these essential configurations in place. This also allows us to be one step closer towards “ Zero Trust Security”
