The Opportunity
More than a conventional IT provider
Sterling Invest and Bobats Wealth are two independent financial services businesses led by common executive team. Both are recognised for meticulous processes, high-calibre professionals, deep industry expertise and a customer-centric approach.
At an important stage in their development, the organisations were looking for more than a conventional IT provider. They wanted a proactive partner who could understand how their businesses operate, guide ongoing improvement and help build a stronger foundation for governance, security, compliance readiness and sustainable growth.
For Sterling Invest, an authorised Category II Financial Services Provider, an independent security and compliance assessment added urgency to the journey. The objective, however, extended beyond meeting an immediate requirement. Leadership wanted to establish sound internal governance practices and a practical operating model that could continue evolving with the businesses.

Our Approach
The SNS Technologies Approach
The engagement began with discovery, not deployment. SNS Technologies worked with leadership and operational teams to understand organisational structure, information flow, communication practices, governance responsibilities, risk priorities, staff capability, existing technology and the processes behind client service.
Strategic guidance and governance
A formal Steering Committee brought client leadership and SNS Technologies together to prioritise initiatives, make decisions transparently and maintain a documented roadmap. A supporting transformation tracker and shared workspace created visibility of progress, ownership and decisions.
Capability and change management
Staff enablement was treated as a core workstream. Awareness sessions, practical workshops, onsite working sessions and internal champions helped employees understand the changes, build confidence and adopt healthier ways of working.
Process digitisation
Manual and spreadsheet-driven activities were reviewed with the teams who own them. Processes were mapped, information was standardised, ownership was clarified and selected workflows were rebuilt with structured status tracking, role-based views and automation.
Security and compliance readiness
Microsoft 365 Business Premium, Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender formed part of a broader programme that strengthened identity, device management, endpoint protection and security awareness. Technology controls were aligned with governance, operational requirements and the organisations’ wider compliance journey.
This provided the context needed to design an approach around the businesses, rather than asking the businesses to adapt to a standard technology implementation.

Results
Key Outcomes
What the partnership has changed for both organisations so far.
A stronger governance model
Technology and process decisions now move through a structured forum with clearer ownership, prioritisation and a documented decision trail.
Improved security posture
Identity, devices and endpoints are managed through a more consistent security framework, supported by ongoing user awareness and controlled processes.
Better operational visibility
Structured workflows make assigned, open and due work easier to see without relying on memory, disconnected spreadsheets or repeated status requests.
More consistent administration
Onboarding, offboarding, device enrolment, access and licensing are handled through more controlled and repeatable processes.
Stronger internal capability
Teams participated in the design of new ways of working, while champions, workshops and guidance supported adoption beyond go-live.
A roadmap for continuous improvement
The organisations now have a shared mechanism for reviewing priorities and sequencing further improvements according to business value.
Technology
Technology Supporting the Journey
The technology platform enables the transformation, but it does not define it. The programme combines Microsoft cloud capabilities with governance, consulting, process design and user enablement.
Microsoft 365 Business Premium
Microsoft Intune for modern device management
Microsoft Defender for endpoint protection
Identity and access controls, including multi-factor authentication
Microsoft Teams and governed collaboration workspaces
Workflow automation, notifications and structured tracking
Partnership
Why the Partnership Continues
The relationship was designed around ongoing business outcomes rather than reactive ticket resolution. SNS Technologies participates in strategic planning, tests requests against the wider roadmap and helps the organisations avoid short-term fixes that could create fragmented processes or technology later.
Sterling Invest and Bobats Wealth play an equally active role. Their leadership teams participate in governance, nominate internal champions, invest in capability and approach continuous improvement with the same care they bring to their clients. This shared commitment has created a partnership built on accountability, transparency and long-term value.
